New Day New Life

Building a care point in a village they serve in is a dream Sreymom has had for over a year. She holds a vision of setting roots in the community they serve. “The work in the village is about relationships,” Shannon explained. If they can have a home base with the people they serve, the relationships they have been building can flourish.

Beyond building relationships, this new care point will give their organization sustainability. It will show they are not just visitors to the villages anymore. There will be more time to spend in each village and a safe place for kids to go and learn.

Teacher and social worker Peach explained that this past year was the best year ever. She has seen the fruits of their labor. She knows the new care point will mean greater ownership in their work and the ability to see more lives transformed.

New Day New Life was able to purchase land to build a care point on. They’ve dreamed about the foundation and what it will become. Now, they are working hard to make progress. The bathrooms, a well, the fence, and the framework of the building were already built in just a few short weeks. The organization is so excited to have these things created by June!
